Timberline Old Town

Sunday morning teachings and guest speakers from Timberline Old Town. At Timberline Old Town we gather to remind each other who we are…that we are all created in the image of God and have chosen to accept that, accept God’s love, take care of each other, and participate in God’s kingdom as followers of Jesus Christ.

These are the weekend teachings from Timberline Old Town Church in Ft. Collins, CO. Darren Fred is the primary communicator, though there are a smattering of guests spread here and there. Also, check out the Speaking of Art segments. We love art, we love what artists have to say about art. For more info about who we are, visit timberlineoldtown.org.

Tempus Per Annum means "Time Throughout The Year". In the liturgical church calendar, it is known as Ordinary Time - the long stretch between Easter and Advent. This is sometimes a grind and sometimes exhilarating and always Holy. We want to settle in and recognize this time of between.

TEXT:

John 6:1-15

TAKEAWAYS:

  • What for you is essential, what is good, what is trivial in this season?
  • Where is Jesus inviting you to trust him with the seemingly impossible?
  • Where are you? What do you have? Who are you with?

Consider sharing answers with a friend.

BENEDICTION:

May love be stronger in us than the fear of the pain that comes with caring.

May we learn to make good out of what we're given Rather than only make sense of it.

May we find freedom in limitation- to fully give ourselves to what we can do rather than worry about what we cannot.

May we have the courage to believe that everything we do matters.

Amen.
